Last Sunday I visited the new exhibition at the Schlossmuseum Linz: „Longing nature. Landscapes of Europe”. It´s quite amazing to stand in front of the original painting of an old master being able to follow every single brush stroke. Unfortunately I had too little time (should have read the opening times on their website much more accurate 
) so I could see the last two rooms only in a shortcut-version. But I will go there once again and take a closer look to all those worth seeing landscape paintings (from late-gothic to early 20th century). I can highly recommend this exhibition to everyone who is interested in landscape paintings!
