Dandelions are particularly fond of ‘multiplying’ - and don't make many friends with gardeners as a result.
The ladybird is quite different - it is a popular symbol of good luck and a helpful beneficial insect for aphid invasions.
The cute beetles exist in countless colour and pattern variations.
